Like every day, 7/2018, Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência, Lisbon

Curated by Sofia Marçal

The exhibition evokes memories that are beyond the measure and appear again in this room that was an old chemistry laboratory where the drawers of the cabinets once were full with scientific objects and now replaced by the glass-made version with everyday objects. The internal and external connections that this exhibition gives to visitors and the self-reflection where the artist stands, can make it difficult to understand these signs as individual works.
This  work creates a challenging vision of our world, exposing its contradictions and complexities, often making it all too familiar. Through the juxtaposition of opposites like beauty and horror, it engages itself in conflicting emotions of desire and repulsion, fear and fascination.
